Note to Zumaya: quit looking at the pitch speed and make it accross the plate a few times! (dude does have a 92mph changeup though) Can't pitch a slider worth a shit, but has a nice speedball and changeup (when he's on).

Bonderman SOOOooooo deserves a fig more so than VEERlander! But of course the only reason he's getting one is because he's "favored" for rookie of the year. I once thought that Zumaya would be a cash cow of a figure, but not anymore! I bet Todd's thinking the same thing after game one, for VEERlander!

Well Bonderman tanked. Rodney chalks up the 4th pitcher error for the series. Zumaya still can't throw a strike. Pretty bad when Casey & Pudge are ripping 'em and we still can't win. Magglio must have peaked in the last game of the ALCS.

I'm betting on rain tonight.

If Bonderman TANKED then what do you call what Verlander did?

Bonderman's the only one who did worth a shit, besides Rogers.
Verlander, Robertson, Rodney AND Zumaya couldn't get a damned thing going. (Rodney being the least problematic 'til his fielding error)
At least Bonderman kept them across the plate, AND pitched 6 innings before having "trouble"....(which I saw as a setup, that RODNEY got to take credit for)

And to think....Bonderman bunted his at bat to advance a runner.....SUCCESSFULLY. The kid had several AT BATS, that none of the other pitchers HAD the fortitude for.

Leyland had faith in the WRONG people!
With the rain delay.....he shoulda put Rogers in for game 5, so there MIGHT have been a chance to play AT HOME where his precious VEERlander pitches best.

Guess who's not getting MVP, OR rookie of the year?
